The Bear Inn at Holwell is a family-run pub idyllically situated in the beautiful Somerset countryside near the market town of Frome, with many fantastic local attractions on our doorstep.

We are a stone's throw from the Longleat Estate and a short drive from Glastonbury Tor, Stonehenge, Avebury, Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Wookey Hole Caves.

So whether you are looking for a relaxing weekend getaway in the countryside, or an exciting mini-break to explore the many local sights and attractions, The Bear Inn has it all.

We offer a selection of comfortable rooms in an inviting, friendly atmosphere. Each room has its own theme based on one of the local towns. All rooms have en-suite shower room, tea/coffee-making facilities, TV and free wireless internet connection. A continental breakfast is available until 11.00am every day and is included in the price of the room.

Check-in is from 2.00pm and we require rooms to be vacant by 12.00 midday on check-out.
