  The Bear Inn at Holwell (Nunney), is an Arts and Live music venue/Hotel for hire. Well known now for having a Dragon

on our roof, we have been successfully in business for one year , and are proud to say we have

a lot more in store for all to appreciate. We have two cosy fire places for the winter and a lovely garden for the summer.

The old Pub has been developing since the mid 1800s , and being that old has needed a lot of work and time in order to keep it alive. Persistence will prevail! At the moment we are building a second stage outside for our performers. We have Fire Shows and a range of different Creative Workshops. Being musicians, performers, and artists ourselves, we wish to inspire and encourage the youth of our community to get involved and express their wisdom and creativity.

We are idyllically situated in the beautiful Somerset countryside near the market town of Frome, with many famous local attractions on our doorstep e.g Stonehenge, Glastonbury Tor, Longleat House, and Cheddar Caves.

The Bear Inn offers comfortable Vegetarian Bed & Breakfast Accommodation.
